Xiaomi Nepal today tease the poster for the launch of Xiaomi Mi Band 5 in Nepal. Xiaomi country General manager Sourabh Kothari announced the launch of the Mi Band 5. The fitness tracker band will be launched in Nepal after 2 days.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi Nepal introduced the band to Nepal even before the India launch. Country GM Kothari has already announced that September will be a busiest month for Xiaomi Nepal.

Specifications

Mi Band 5 is the successor of the Mi Band 4. Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is successful to be the most sold fitness wearable brand throughout the world. The fitness band was launched in China back in June.

The AMOLED display of the Mi Band 5 is slightly bigger than that of the Mi Band 4. The screen-size has been upgraded from 0.95-inches to a bigger 1.1-inch screen. The screen now offers smaller bezels and a larger area to display more information. The resolution is set at 126 x 294 pixels and it supports 100% of the P3 color gamut. It also comes with a 2.5D tempered glass panel that protects the screen from scratches and abrasions.

The main upgrades of Mi Band 5 supports over 100+ themed dial switching, including the most popular characters like . Spongebob Squarepants, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Hatsune Miku, and Detective Conan.

Some upgrades include the increase in screen size, sensor upgrade, NFC support, UnionPay payment, women’s health mode, remote control photography.

Mi Band 5 Magnetic charging

The magnetic charging support feature on Mi Band 5 is believed to deliver a hassle-free charging experience. The 125mAh battery on the tracker provides a battery life of around 14 days.

However, the global version lacks some important features like NFC, SpO2 tracking, and a voice assistant.

The band has support for more than 11 sports modes including Outdoor running, Cycling, Walking, Yoga, and Pool swimming.

Mi Band 5: Price in Nepal

Xiaomi Mi Band 5 was launched in Europe at a price of $46. However, we can expect the price of the Fitness tracker band to be around NPR. 4000-4500 in Nepal.
