Qualcomm has announced it’s two processors, Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 730G side by side in the April 2019.
The Snapdragon 730G is an upgrade over the previous Snapdragon 730 processor which was launched with the Pixel 4a, a couple of weeks back. It provides 15% graphics boost with support for true HDR. So it is considered to be gaming focused processor too. The camera improvements introduced cinemagraphs and HD super slow-mo at 960fps.
Now after the high profile launch of SD 730G along with Pixel 4a, Qualcomm has now announced it’s next processor, the Snapdragon 732G.
This Snapdragon 732G, introduces Adreno 618 GPU that offers further 15% improvement in graphics rendering over SD 730G. Also the clock speed of the Kryo 470 CPU Prime core goes up to 2.3 GHz from 2.2. This Snapdragon 732G is built on an 8nm processor so the CPU features two performance and six efficiency cores.
These were some upgrades in the SD 732G however some features are still unaltered like the fourth-generation Qualcomm AI Engine and the X15 LTE modem. Moreover, Quad HD+ displays are supported, and the 4K HDR with Portrait mode is also possible. It also features Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 6.
