A new Xiaomi Redmi Smartphone is listed on the Chinese TEENA certification site. The previously launched Redmi K30 5G Smartphone has been updated on the website data. It can be assumed that the alleged Redmi K30i may be the modified K30 5G with slight tweaks on camera specifications. The phone is listed on the site with updates on the camera information. The same model no M2001G7AC was previously launched in China under the brand name Redmi K30 5G. The successor of Redmi K30 5G also named Redmi K30 Pro is already launched in China.
According to the certifications data, Redmi K30i will consist of a Quad-camera setup of 48 Megapixels Primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, 8 MP depth sensor and 2 MP macro sensor. Redmi K30i houses a 16MP selfie camera with a punch-hole display. The phone runs on an unknown processor with a clock speed of 2.4 GHz. In addition to these, it comes with three RAM variants of 8GB, 6GB, and 10 GB with storage options of 64GB, 128, and 256 GB. The phone is expected to run on Android 10 on top of Xiaomi’s custom OEM skin, MIUI 12.
Furthermore, it spots the dimensions of 165.4×76.6×8.8mm and weighs about 209 gm. Redmi K30i comes with a 2400×1080 Full HD+IPS display measuring 6.67 inches. Redmi K30i is powered by a 4400 mAh battery. It comes with additional features like GSM, TD-LTE, LTE, WCDMA.
According to Xiaomishka on twitter, the phone may be priced 1799 yuan which is equivalent to $254.
Xiaomi India CEO, Manu Kumar Jain has taken to twitter about the launch of Redmi K30 Pro in India. Redmi K30 pro may be available in India along with the Redmi Note 9 Series after the lockdown ends. A previous model Redmi k20 and Redmi K20 pro were also previously launched in India as well as Nepal.
As we can confirm the launch of Redmi K30 pro in India, it can also be assumed that Redmi K30i may be available in India soon.
