Xiaomi has been popular for its low budget high specs mobile phones. It has occupied a large share in the smartphone market. The Redmi K20 pro was a huge success which has been released last year. It was a hit on smartphone market in 2019 and ruled the smartphone market since there was no successor to the 2018 POCO F1. The first Redmi flagship phone packed not only a flagship processor but also flagship features. Now a successor, called the Redmi K30 Pro, is expected to launch soon and it might be the cheapest Snapdragon 865 phone this year.
In a tweet by a leakster Ishan Agrawal the Redmi K30 Pro will be “one of the cheapest Snapdragon 865 phones or maybe even the cheapest Snapdragon 865 smartphone”.
He adds that Redmi is focusing on the price, so it is better not to expect a high specs phone as the budget cut may have some impact on some of the features like type of display used, the fast charging technology, the battery capacity, the camera performance.
Based on this info, there is a high chance the Redmi K30 Pro will launch in India as the POCO F2. just as the Redmi K30 was sold in India as the POCO X2. As the POCO official page has also teased a new phone named POCO F2 it is expected to be the rebranded version of Redmi K30 pro . The POCO F1 was one of the cheapest Snapdragon 845 phones launched in 2018.It was one of the successful smartphones launched by Xiaomi till date. As POCO has been separated as a separate entity from Xiaomi and have been working on the flagship phones with a budget segment price Its successor POCO F2 is expected to be pretty affordable and may set a market trend on 2020.
A few days ago, it was reported that the Redmi K30 pro may have a starting base price of 2999 Yuanwhich happens to be about $430. There may be also a separate variant which is believed to be suitable for the indian market so that it can truely be a POCO F1 sucessor and rule the smartphone market.
