POCO devices have always been a talk of the town since the launch of the very first POCO F1. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi sub-brand turned independent brand POCO opted for rebranding Xiaomi smartphones after the launch of POCO F1. The true successor of POCO F1 is still unknown. However, POCO X3 seems to be a true POCO device without any rebranding. POCO X3 NFC version was launched in Europe a few days back. Finally, POCO X3 is launched in India at a very competitive price.
POCO X3: Specifications
POCO X3 comes with a completely new eyecatching finish line design. A big POCO logo that comes with a color-changing chroma design. POCO X3 is available in two different color options: Shadow Grey and Cobalt Blue.
A few weeks back Qualcomm announced its newest chipset to the 700 series, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G. POCO X3 is powered by the Snapdragon 732G chipset. Snapdragon 732G is the upgrade over the 730G chipset used on mid-range smartphones built over the 8nm process. The chipset comes with two ARM Cortex A76 gold cores and 6 ARM A55 silver cores. The CPU is coupled with Adreno 618 GPU for the smooth gaming experience.
The 723G chipset is coupled with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Moreover, the storage is expandable up to 256GB.
POCO X3 comes with 6.67″ FHD+ Display with 120Hz refresh rate. The dynamic switch function adjusts the refresh rate according to the usage of the device to increase the power efficiency. Moreover, the screen has a 240Hz sampling rate with improves the gaming experience with a better feedback.
The Display is HDR10, TUV Rheinland and L1 certified. It also comes with a durable Corning Gorilla Glass on the front.
POCO X3 NFC consists of a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor. The Sony IMX682 sensor is coupled with a 2MP depth sensor, 2MP Macro sensor, and 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera sensor. It also comes with inbuilt filters like Gold Vibes mode and Cyberpunk Mode. More features include AI Skyscraping mode, Kaleidoscope mode, and Pro mode.
A battery of 6000mAh is available for the Indian variant compared to the 5160mah European variant. Meanwhile, the battery can be charged from 0 to 100% within 66 minutes with a 33W fast charging.
Apart from these features, POCO X3 is also optimized for maximum gaming experiences. It also packs some flagship features like Dual Stereo speakers for Hi-Res Audio. A Z-axis linear vibration motor provides 150+ different vibrations for different scenes. It also comes with Game Turbo 3.0 which helps in network optimization, sound quality optimization, performance optimization. Apart from these features, Voice Changer is relatively new and can be pretty useful during gaming.
POCO X3 has stilled maintained the legacy of Xiaomi smartphones with IR Blaster. It also comes with a side-mounted finger-print sensor and an earphone jack. However, NFC(Near Field Communication) feature is ditched for the Indian variant of POCO X3.
The device is IP53 certified which prevents from splashes and water.

POCO X3 is available in three variants. The 6+64 GB variant is available at a price of INR. 16,999. Similarly, the 6GB + 128GB variant is available at a price of INR. 18,999 and 8+128GB variant is available for INR. 19,999
