Xiaomi is continuously dropping leaks for its new upcoming smartphones. Just yesterday we know about the Redmi 9 series which is launching this month. And today the news of another new Redmi Smartphone is trending on social medias.

Dimensity 1000+ Redmi Smartphone

The first and the most special thing about this new Redmi smartphone is it’s processor. This Redmi smartphone is gonna be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+. Though Xiaomi was not able to launch this chipset for first time, which was launched with IQOO Z1 and also turned to be a flagship phone of 2020. Xiaomi has finally decided to launch it’s next Redmi smartphone with this powerful Dimensity 1000+ processor. It will be the first Xiaomi/ Redmi smartphone to get this Dimensity 1000+ smartphone.

So this new Dimensity 1000+ Redmi smartphone is going to be a competition to the previous IQOO Z1.

Again, this Redmi smartphone is delivering IPS LCD display as most of other Xiaomi smartphone. Xiaomi could have provided SuperAmoled touchscreen this time, but didn’t. Moreover, this touchscreen has the refresh rate of 144Hz which is same as the refresh rate of IQOO Z1.

Unlike the triple rear camera of IQOO Z1, this new Redmi smartphone will feature a quad-camera setup at its back. This includes a primary Sony IMX686 sensor.

Not much about the battery has been revealed, but this new Xiaomi smartphone is certainly gonna feature 33W fast charging support. If we compare it with with IQOO Z1, Z1 features 44W fast charging which is dominating over this Xiaomi smartphone. Since the battery of Z1 was only a 4500 mAh battery, Xiaomi can dominate it easily if it is gonna provide 5000mAh battery to this new smartphone.
