Though the Google Pixel has been set to launch on September 30, the complete specifications of the phone has been leaked ahead of it’s launch. Two days before, the phone was listed in various UK and European retailers and yesterday complete specifications of this phone has leaked from Germany.
So let’s have a close look towards the complete specifications of this new Pixel phone.
Google Pixel 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 765 chipset though there was Snapdragon 855 in Pixel 4. Definitely this SD 765 is not a flagship chipset as like the SD 855. So the phone will have the lower performance grade than Pixel 4. It is configures with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. This is the first time the Pixel Phone is being shipped with 8GB RAM. Further, it also supports the 5G connectivity.
It spots a 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with resolutions of 2400×1080 pixels resolution. The screen features 90 Hz refresh rate with HDR support and is protected with Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Though the phone uses AMOLED screen, it spots rear-mounted fingerprint sensor instead of in-display sensor.
Pixel 5 houses dual rear camera which includes a 12.2 MP (f/1.7) primary lens with dual pixel PDAF ,OIS and EIS which also provides 77-degree field-of-view. The second camera is a 16 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 107-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. At front, it features a 8MP selfie camera that has an f/2.0 aperture and 83-degree field-of-view.
Under the hood, Google Pixel 5 houses a 4080 mAh battery that comes with 18W fast charging and wireless charging supports. It measures 144.6 x 70.4 x 8mm and weighs 151g.
The phone has only one SIM slot but you can use dual-SIM functionality with eSIM. It also includes stereo speakers, three mics, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth 5.0.
